We are excited to announce that Elementary Scholastic Bowl is starting back up! We are looking for bright, curious students in grades 3–4 to join the team.
Scholastic Bowl is a fast-paced, quiz-game activity where students compete by answering trivia and academic questions using game buzzers. Participating in 3rd and 4th grade is a fantastic way to build skills, especially since students can continue competing at every campus level across Ridgeview!
We are also thrilled to welcome our new Scholastic Bowl Coach, Sally Lyall!
How to Join:
Register your student for the After the Bell (ATB) program.
Attend ATB on the scheduled Scholastic Bowl practice days!

We are so excited to announce that Communities In Schools is bringing back two of our favorite signature programs this year — Sesame Street in Communities & Second Step! 🎉💛
Miss Crystal, Miss Kim, and Miss Madison are ready for another amazing year of helping our students learn, grow, build confidence, manage big feelings, make positive choices, and strengthen their social-emotional skills! 🌈✨
📚 Here’s how it works:
❤️ Kindergarten–2nd Grade: Sesame Street in Communities

Each month, one of our Communities In Schools coordinators will visit classrooms for a fun and engaging social-emotional learning lesson designed especially for our students!
🏡 And the learning doesn’t stop at school!
Each month, students will bring home a Family Engagement activity connected to what they are learning. Students who complete the activity with their family and return it to school will be entered into a drawing to WIN A PRIZE! 🎁🎉

This is a notice to notify Parents/Guardian's that we will be having a lock down drill in the near future. This letters are also being sent home with your students.
Buses and car riders have been released and should be on their way home. We thank you for your understanding as we wanted to make sure our students were safe as they traveled home.
Due to the recent storm, we are holding all bus and car riders due to down trees and electrical lines. SCHOOL WILL NOT DISMISS AT 3:00 PM.

Student Athletic Passes now available. They are all online! We are no longer taking cash. The student or parent scans the QR code and follows the directions that will come up. Once that is done, the student or parent has the "tickets" on their phone for the HOME games and just has to show their phone at each game to be scanned. We can't wait to see everyone at the games!

To help make the transition back to school a little easier, RES parents and guardians are welcome to walk their child into the building during morning drop-off on Thursday, August 6th and Friday, August 7th.
Beginning Monday, August 10, we will resume our normal morning drop-off procedures. We appreciate your cooperation as we work to ensure a safe and smooth start to the school year for all students.

Our sincerest apologies as incorrect information has been floating around concerning our open house opportunities scheduled for tonight and tomorrow night.
Open house for Pre-K through First Grade will be tonight from 4pm-6pm. Kindergarten parents will begin with a brief meeting in the gym at 4pm.
Open house for Second Grade through Fourth Grade will be Tuesday night from 4p,-6pm. Third grade parents will begin with a brief meeting in the gym at 4pm.

Our next meal pickup will be on Friday, July 24th from 4:00-6:00 PM at the Ridegview HIgh School entrance. Meals will consist of 8 breakfasts and 8 lunches and included a gallon of milk. Some chocolate milk will be available while it lasts.
Meals will be on a first come, first served basis and will be given out until they run out.
