This is a notice to notify Parents/Guardian's that we will be having a lock down drill in the near future. This letters are also being sent home with your students.
Buses and car riders have been released and should be on their way home. We thank you for your understanding as we wanted to make sure our students were safe as they traveled home.
Due to the recent storm, we are holding all bus and car riders due to down trees and electrical lines. SCHOOL WILL NOT DISMISS AT 3:00 PM.

Student Athletic Passes now available. They are all online! We are no longer taking cash. The student or parent scans the QR code and follows the directions that will come up. Once that is done, the student or parent has the "tickets" on their phone for the HOME games and just has to show their phone at each game to be scanned. We can't wait to see everyone at the games!

To help make the transition back to school a little easier, RES parents and guardians are welcome to walk their child into the building during morning drop-off on Thursday, August 6th and Friday, August 7th.
Beginning Monday, August 10, we will resume our normal morning drop-off procedures. We appreciate your cooperation as we work to ensure a safe and smooth start to the school year for all students.

Our sincerest apologies as incorrect information has been floating around concerning our open house opportunities scheduled for tonight and tomorrow night.
Open house for Pre-K through First Grade will be tonight from 4pm-6pm. Kindergarten parents will begin with a brief meeting in the gym at 4pm.
Open house for Second Grade through Fourth Grade will be Tuesday night from 4p,-6pm. Third grade parents will begin with a brief meeting in the gym at 4pm.

The Dickenson County Health Department will sponsor a Back-to-School Immunization Clinic on July 29, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM. You may call the Health Department for an appointment, but walk-ins are also welcome.
