Star Student Spotlight

Let’s give a big round of applause to our amazing Wolf Pup, Leighton Wallace!

Leighton consistently shows what it means to be kind, helpful, and considerate of others. Recently, when two totes of items fell from a windowsill while the classroom was empty, Leighton stepped up without being asked and took the initiative to pick everything up.

Her willingness to helpβ€”even when no one is watchingβ€”is a true example of integrity and character.

We are so proud of you, Leighton! Keep shining and leading by example!

🌟 Star Student Spotlights – 4th Grade 🌟

Today we are proud to recognize two outstanding fourth graders who are shining examples of kindness, responsibility, and leadership at RES! πŸΊπŸ’™

πŸ‘ Finn goes above and beyond every single day by helping clean up the cafeteria and taking care of his classmates without ever being asked. His consistency and willingness to serve others have been evident since the very beginning of the school year!

πŸ‘ Collin has shown incredible compassion by helping a fellow student who needs extra support down the stairs on multiple occasions. Even when others were rushing, Collin slowed down, showed patience, and offered kindness every step of the way. Moments like these truly make a difference!

πŸ’¬ Administrator: β€œWe are so proud and thankful to have such amazing students to praise here at RES!”

Way to go, Finn and Collin! You make our Wolfpack proud! 🐾

🌟 RES Star Student Spotlight: Connor Hill 🌟

Please join us in celebrating Connor Hill, one of our outstanding RES Star Students!

Connor recently showed what it truly means to have great character. Mr. Souleyrette shared, β€œConnor took the time to clean up another student’s mess without being asked to.” That simple act shows kindness, responsibility, and integrityβ€”qualities we love to see in our students.

Connor is a prime example of integrity, and we are so proud to have him as a Wolf Pup at RES! πŸΊπŸ’™

Way to go, Connor! Keep leading by example! πŸ‘βœ¨

πŸ“šπŸŽ© A Perfect Finale to Read Across America Week! πŸŽ©πŸ“š

We would like to send a very special thank you to Carol Compton, the mother of our very own principal, Dr. Compton, for serving as the final guest reader during our Read Across America celebration!

Mrs. Compton helped wrap up a wonderful week filled with stories, laughter, and a shared love of reading with our students. We are so grateful she took the time to visit and make the grand finale of our guest readers extra special.

To make the day even more fun, The Cat in the Hat made rounds through the halls of RES, spreading smiles and excitement as we celebrated the joy that books bring to our school!

Thank you to everyone who helped make this Read Across America Week such a memorable celebration of reading! πŸΊπŸ“–β€οΈ

πŸ“šβœ¨ Thank You to Our Special Guest Readers! βœ¨πŸ“š

A big thank you to our PTO President, Kayla Pitkin, and Physical Therapist, LeaAnna Smith, for visiting our fourth grade classrooms as guest readers during our Read Across America celebration!

These wonderful ladies took time out of their busy schedules to share their love of reading with our students. It just so happens they are also mommas to some pretty sweet kiddos in our fourth grade classes, which made the visit even more special! πŸ’™

We are so grateful for the amazing families and community members who help make RES such a special place to learn and grow. Thank you both for helping us celebrate the joy and importance of reading! πŸΊπŸ“–
