**REMINDER**

🎉🐺 Ridgeview Elementary Homecoming Week is here! 🐺🎉 Get ready to show your school spirit all week long with our FUN dress-up days: September 22-26 Let’s show our Ridgeview pride and make this Homecoming Week unforgettable! 💙🖤🤍🐺

Bus 43 students will be approximately 20-30mins later arriving home.

Students that live on Road Branch, from Turner Rd to Low Gap, which includes Jack Childress hollow ,will be 20-30 mins later arriving home.

Also, Students that live on Hadley/Basin will ride Bus 27 and arrive home at 3:20-3:30.

This is to notify parents that flu shot forms will be going home today, September 18, 2025 with students. Please remember to fill out front and back of the forms. We will also need the insurance information and a signature on each form. Flu shots will be given on Thursday, October 9th! Please return forms to school as soon as possible! Thank you!

Bus 22 kids will be approximately 35-40 mins later arriving home, today, September 17!!

This is to notify you that Dickenson County Schools will release early on Friday, September 19th at 12pm so that students can enjoy kids day at The Dickenson County Fair.

ATTENTION PARENTS AND GUARDIANS: There is a bus change for today, Wednesday 9/10/25. Bus 43 will be on bus 31 today and bus 43 students will be approximately 30-40 minutes later. Students that live from Turner Rd to Low Gap on ROAD BRANCH will be approximately 20-30mins later arriving home.

Ridgeview Elementary will be doing Fall portraits by Photogenius on Wednesday, September 10th, beginning around 8:30A.M. Proofs will be sent home with your child when they are received back at the school from Photogenius!

This is to notify parents that bus 30 will be 30 to 45 minutes late this afternoon. Also, bus 28 students will be 20 to 30 minutes late. If you have any questions, please call the transportation office at 926-6511.

Dear Parents and Guardians,

This is a reminder about dismissal changes and procedures for your children.
We ask that you please send a note, with the child's name, homeroom teacher, date, and your signature. If it is a bus, please provide the bus number as well as an address in case there is a substitute bus driver.
If you forget to send a note we ask that you call before 2:00 pm. Calls that come after make it difficult to get notes to students on time before bus and pickups. We understand that sometimes there are emergencies and you have to call after 2, but for all other times please call before.
Parents that do parent pickup, yes there are 2 lanes, but we ask that you do not block the 2nd lane until after 2:40. There is still parents that come check out their children and if you are blocking the 2nd lane then they can't get around to the school doors. Pickup doesn't start until 2:50 and is always over by 3:05-3:10. We would greatly appreciate that you wait to drive up that second lane until closer to 2:50 to free it up for emergencies and parents are still checking out their children early.
